Tsunami

A short checklist based on official guidance. See sources at the bottom for full details.

If you live near the coast, be aware of tsunami risk after strong/long earthquakes; know evacuation routes to higher ground.
Decide in advance how you will receive official alerts (AFAD/MGM/local authorities).

If you are near the shore and an earthquake is long or strong, move away from the coast to higher ground or inland.
Monitor official information (radio/alerts); do not return until authorities say it is safe.
